Our story
Breakbreads.com started in 2024 as two empaths and old souls embarking on a journey together to restore community and comradery amid a post-covid, GMO-infused, local food and community scene. Searching for the perfect balance between mastery and imperfect modernity, we sought to bring back to the old ways in lieu of the new ways. Ways of flour, water, and salt, but also of stevia blueberry muffins and nutmeg craisin biscuits. We now sell a daily selection of breads and pastries both online and in-store.
Great Harvest Bread Co.’s philosophy is one of balance—a balance of old techniques and new ones, of different ingredients and flavors, and of passion and skill. Also, check out Uffda Donuts adjacent to the bakery, for a variety of assorted donuts and specialty items.
Our ingredients
We work with 14 local farmers to source all of the grains, fruit, and dairy that go into our breads and pastries. Our bread is human—from the farmers who mill and harvest our grains, to the bakers who put passion and care into each loaf they make.

Bake with Us —
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a recipe into a cookbook or something more. Or maybe you happen to have a creative angst and you want to share it with the world. Come break bread with us and discover a side of yourself and others you never knew existed.
We believe our bread is only as good as the ingredients we use.
